Creamy Garlic Parmesan Pasta 🍝
Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) fettuccine or penne pasta
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for lighter option)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (+ extra for garnish)
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp red chili flakes (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Cook pasta al dente in salted boiling water. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
- Sauté garlic – In a pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Make sauce – Pour in heavy cream, Parmesan, salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Stir until smooth and slightly thickened (2-3 mins).
- Combine – Toss cooked pasta into the sauce, adding a splash of pasta water if needed for creaminess.
- Garnish & serve – Top with extra Parmesan and fresh parsley. Enjoy hot!
