Creamy Garlic Parmesan Pasta 🍝

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz (225g) fettuccine or penne pasta
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for lighter option)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (+ extra for garnish)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp red chili flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Cook pasta al dente in salted boiling water. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
  2. Sauté garlic – In a pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Make sauce – Pour in heavy cream, Parmesan, salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Stir until smooth and slightly thickened (2-3 mins).
  4. Combine – Toss cooked pasta into the sauce, adding a splash of pasta water if needed for creaminess.
  5. Garnish & serve – Top with extra Parmesan and fresh parsley. Enjoy hot!
